Dr Angeles Camacho Rosales 

Research fellow at the University of Southampton, Zepler Institute in the Nanophotonics group, collaboration in EPSRC project “Composite material hollow core fibres for active photonics”. After +10 years’ experience working in industry, I did my PhD in Optoelectronics at the University of Southampton, collaborating in the EPSRC project “Novel Multiple Materials Additive Manufacturing Instrument for New Generation of Optical fibre Fabrication”. I received my BS degree in Industrial Engineer from the National Institute Polytechnique (Mexico, 2010). I am part of the SPIE subcommittees for early career professionals and student chapters (2019-2020). Also, I collaborate in IEEE education projects for Latin America. My research interests lie in optical fibre technology, novel materials and optical fibre fabrication.
