Dr Di Lin 

Dr Lin received a PhD degree in optoelectronics from the Optoelectronics Research Centre(ORC) of University of Southampton in 2016. He joined the Advanced Solid-State Sources group at the ORC as a postgraduate student in 2011, and joined the Advanced Fibre Technologies & Applications group at the ORC as a research fellow in 2015. His recent primary research interests include high power short pulse sources with particular emphasis on spatio-temporal beam shapings in both solid-state lasers and fibre lasers, advanced technology for the generation of high power structured light beams, coherent beam combinations, multicore and multimode fibre laser technology, and digital holography.
