Dr Peijun He 

Dr Peijun He is a Research Fellow in Optoelectronics Research Centre in University of Southampton. 

His interests/researches are mainly focused on developing rapid low-cost point-of-care (POC) diagnostic tools using a laser-based technology. He has developed a laser-based procedure for fabrication of paper-based sensors/devices, which provides a very robust platform for implementation of a vast variety of bio-assays for clinical diagnostics to tackle global healthcare challenges that range from diagnosis of infection diseases to monitoring of personal conditions and to bacteria detection and antibiotic susceptibility testing.
