Dr Natasha Vukovic 

Senior Research Fellow (2015 – present)

Natasha obtained her BSc, MSc, and PhD in electronics from the Faculty of Electronics Engineering, University of Nis, Serbia, and the PhD in photonics from the Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC) at the University of Southampton in 2010. Consequently, she started as a Research Fellow in the ORC, and she holds a Senior Research Fellow position since 2015.  She is a member of the Advanced Laser Lab (ALL), a joint ORC/SPI Laser laboratory.

Research interests

Her research activities include the optical fibre technology for high power fibre laser industry, laser beam shape control, tapered and microstructured optical fibres, short pulse propagation, pulse shaping, optical resonators, and optical switching and modulation.
